I am growing weary of snow

Note:  My laptop quote keys are not working today, so any grammar involving apostrophes will be stiff.  On the first boot, it was the c&d.  On the second, it was the space bar.  I decided to work with this problem for a while.  I have reinstalled the keyboard driver, but it doesnt seem to help.

Well, here we are without the truck again and we got 4 inches of snow (a total surprise) over night.  And it is Monday and we almost never stay over Sunday night, but Tino was/is very much down with the flu, and it seemed like too much work to pack up and drive back.  Also, this way, he wont be tempted to go into the office, should he feel a bit better.

The weather service forecast for the Shenandoah region said that up to an INCH of snow was possible.  They were wrong by a factor of four, it seems.  Since we would rather not fuck around with the tire chains, we are here until they plow the hill or the sun comes out and renders it slush.   Either or both of those things can be expected to happen at some point.

Im off to enjoy my oatmeal (the Irish kind that you have to cook for 30 minutes) and coffee now.
