Update on Audible.com

I was able to use the site normally yesterday afternoon. I have no idea if they fixed something or if everyone who was overburding their system went on vacation.

I hope they realize now that they need more capacity.

Go back now. I am downloading at between 85 - 140K, two at a time!

I originally found your site after Googling audible.com AND complaints while on hold for customer "support." I guess I have to say, one out of four ain't bad -- the fourth support rep I talked to finally took care of my problems and credited missed books back to my account. So, I wasted two hours of my life on the phone with them. But at least I didn't end up paying for something, only to get nothing.

And, if today's download speeds are any indication, they've finally upgraded their download servers! I like the concept, they have an excellent selection, and some great prices for audiobooks whenever they're on sale. But sometimes the rigmarole that they put you through makes it difficult to hang in there.

Yep. I got some stuff yesterday and was able to download 2-at-a-time.

It looks like they've upgraded as it's now better than it was before the 4th of July blow-out.
