leather and potato bars

I'm just Suzy Homemaker today.

I'm currently cooking potato bars. These are a lunch item from "Simple Foods For the Pack" which I've found are better as desky snacks than as hiking snacks.

Part of the potato bar thing is because I want to start bringing lunch. I also want to start walking to work, but I have to bring lunch if I want to do that -- it's the suburbs, and lunch is too far from work to walk, IMHO.

I've just finished a leather top, and I'm currently preparing two more cowhides for being cut and sewn into a skirt and a little backpack thingy.

I made a fancy schmancy silk handbag this weekend (lined with midnight blue deer suede). It's made of grey chinese silk and has two japanese looking goldfish in the print on each side. It has a frog closure and a tassel, and overall, it looks very japanese. Don't ask me what I'll wear it with. I'll find something.

ALL MY LAUDRY IS DONE, and the dishwasher is running.

Tomorrow, I have to go back to work and my housewife fantasy will no doubt crumble into dust.
