Sigh. Bored.

Goddamn, I'm bored. I hate that part of starting a new job. I hate being here not working. I could be doing something useful at home!

Unfortunately, I always feel guilty about taking money to be bored, so I've *tried* to do some work. Of course, I lack the resources (read Unix machine) I need, so I tried to make do (read I tried to use Windows). This is just frustrating, and I'm not really inspired to make it work under Windows when I have no intention of using Windows for the project, ultimately.

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the vagaries of ODBC for Oracle under Windows2000...but there are SO MANY things that could be wrong that I don't even know where to start.

Stupid Windows.
