So, I've seen two movies since I've last written: Toy Story 2 and Dogma. Both were good, but I have a bit more to say about that. I saw Toy Story 2 at the Sterling Towne Center cinemas. This is a cheap-seat place - $3 all the time. My God, what a dump. The film wasn't even lined up on the screen, so we missed all of Luxo, Jr. because of that. When Tino when out to complain, he found the projectionist practicing skateboard moves in the lobby. The problem was corrected, and, in fact, slightly over-corrected. Anyway, there were no trailers, just the short, and the film actually cut off during the outtakes/title section, so we didn't get to see all of that either. The experience was not enhanced by the family that acted like they were in their living room. Really, their kid was OK, it was the parents being annoying, moving three times and chattering during the showing. The popcorn butter was rancid, rendering the popcorn inedible. The water fountain was out of order , and one stairway was closed. Anyway, the movie was good. We rented Dogma on DVD and we both really liked it. Work continues to be silly, and I'm looking forward to going on vacation. There will no doubt be a gap in my entries in the near future. Not that they've been regular enough for you to perceive a pattern. I just saw a bit of a game show where the point is to figure out if a dog belongs to a particular dog owner.
Note to grammar queens reading: I don't know when to hyphenate and when not, so you can tell me when I'm wrong.
