There are thunderstorms in St. Louis, so our plane hasn't even left there yet. I asked hz.com (via my pager) when our flight was scheduled to leave. They say 9:12pm (this is on a 5:55pm flight, mind you). TWA is admitting no such departure time.
Off to hit Friday's for dinner and a girly drink.
...
A garden burger and Pina Colada later, the plane left sometime between 9pm and 9:15pm in spite of the fact that TWA demanded we return to the gate at 7:30pm. Why does hz.com know the real score and TWA doesn't? OK, TWA must know this stuff, so why do they tease us and inconvenience us further by demanding that we come back to gate 1.5 hours before the plane will leave?! Because they are an airline, that's why. Show me an airline that doesn't suck. I dare you.

OK, the Pina Colada was a mistake. It gave me a nasty headache. That'll teach me to drink liquor.
