Mmmm....Free Goo

So, I listened to Goo[1] today. I also listened to all of Dots and Loops, but that's not really as notable. I don't think I've listed to Goo all the way through since I've moved to Washington. This was an album that was in my daily rotation for the two years after it came out, and I was surprised that I still remembered all the subtle nuances after four years of not listening to it.

And I still can't get over Bee Thousand[2]. It's just so, so wonderful and there is so much going on in the background that it works on multiple levels.

Moving right along to the next thing...

You know, I've been wanting to come up with a new Desert Island List[3]. Maybe I'll work that up for an entry.

[1] OK, it's wasn't free for me. I've bought this record twice now. My intention was to link to the whole album so that you could have it for free and possibly decide that you loved it and had to buy it. Unfortunately, I only ripped Dirty Boots. So much for that plan.
