So, we now own three cars.

Back in the early 90's, I looked fairly seriously for a Jeep Wagoneer. At the time, I was married to a man who was not what you'd call handy. I don't really know anything about cars. Scary visions of dollar signs started to intrude on my vision, and we bought a Suzuki Sidekick.

In the last week or so, Tino decided that he wanted a Grand Wagoneer. We'd never discussed this. It seemed to be a random coincidence. He did some research, and eventually presented me with a car on eBay that he wanted to bid on (these trucks are getting hard to find, and there was only one in the area and it had triple the miles as the one on eBay). Well, we won the auction, and we are now the proud owners of a 1989 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It's burgundy with matching leather and carpets. There's lots of that fake wood in and out. It looks right out of the 60's, and that's the coolest thing about it. At least we paid cash for it. I could have done without the 10 hours of driving. In one week, I crossed the Susquehanna River 4 times. The car was in Wilkes-Barre, and if it had to be far away, I really wish it were somewhere else.
