fucking bullshit

Pissed. Ears steaming.

I got up at 5am to do the airport run, and even though he only had 20 minutes to check his bag, take the stupid bus to the terminal and catch the plane, Tino caught the plane. I can hardly believe that. At least something went right.

I took the car to the dealer. I was given the world's crappiest rental car. It's a Corolla (so it's pretty crappy anyway), the idiot BRAKE light is on constantly, the car pulls to the right when you hit the brakes (so yeah, they probably don't work right. Great.) and the car starts vibrating at 40mph (I didn't get over 25mph until I was miles from the dealership, so I didn't notice for a while) and gets increasingly worse until somewhere over 65mph where the vibrating miraculously stops. Moral of the story? Don't rent from Enterprise. They suck.

Add to this the fact that the dealer is totally ripping me off. It's a shame, because I've had better experience with this dealership in the past, and now I hate them. They are making me buy all sorts of things by threatening to not 'pass' my car for Virginia Inspection. For instance, I've had a crack in my fog light lens since I bought the car. It has passed inspection at least 3 times since then, but they won't pass it with that there. In addition, in investigating a problem with my tail light indicator light, they managed to get my tail light to not work (remind me -- it's in the garage so things WORK, right?), so now they want to replace that too or they won't pass it for inspection. Please keep in mind that we are talking about BMW light lenses here and that they cost about $150.00 a pop. That's $300.00 just from intimidation and bullshit.

Now the bastard tells me that my battery won't hold a charge. That's fucking *bullshit*. That car starts right up for me all the time. I said not to replace the battery, (I can replace a fucking battery myself) and he gives me this line that "the car might not start when you come pick it up tomorrow". Oh please. $1100 later and the car now has a problem it *didn't* have this morning?

I expected the brakes, and they are doing those. I expected some other sundry items to need replacement, and they are doing those. That's all fine and well, but I'm really pissed off about the light lens blackmail. Now I know the car is due for new tires, so I wasn't surprised when they tried to sell me those. I said no, of course, since I can get them cheaper elsewhere. They again threaten to not pass my car's state inspection. The tires aren't *that* bad, and I said so and they backed off of that.

To think I was browsing their lot for new BMWs last week. Forget that shit. They are never seeing my blonde self again. Motherfuckers.
