Our Freak Snowstorm

On Saturday, it was warm and very humid, so it was effectively HOT. I decided that I should do some lawn maintenance before the bugs made it a truly dreadful experience (ie next weekend). I raked thatch and leaves (10 tarps full), mowed (and mulched up the leaves I missed) and added some grass seed in the spare parts. I then took a shower because I was drenched with sweat from the work and the heat.

On Sunday, I woke up and thought, in my morning daze, that it was foggy. Then I put on my glasses and realized that the whole world outside the window was white, and that it was snowing like crazy. We got four or five inches by 5pm when it finally stopped.

Here's some pictures that I took today. The snow is, obviously, still hanging around. First, this is the top of the driveway with the Miata on one side and the BMW in the other.

This is the view that prompted me to get out the camera.

Here's some more of the driveway.

And yet more, but still not all.
