Troutville/Daleville, VA

28 June 2001 ~ Daleville, VA ~  9 miles hiked
The only possible water source today (Tinker Creek) was far too nasty to use.  This makes for a very long dry section.  We decided to stay at the Best Western, along with Mr. Decon, Yahtzee, Charlie and...a name I can't recall.  Tomorrow, we're going to stock up on water, leave our gear here and slack to the car.  Yay.

I wish I had more to say about today, but it just wasn't very interesting.  It was really more of a trudge, but I guess that's expected after doing McAfee and Tinker Cliffs the previous day and Dragon's Tooth the day before.
