This is a Protest?

Well, I'm not a member of the CWA, but they have threatened to try and get Network Engineers to unionize. I haven't really seen anything about that yet.

The Verizon folks are striking right across the street. I can certainly understand that they are a little paranoid. Companies rarely come out of a merger looking anything like what they did going in (these are really Bell Titanic folks, but the new company combo of Bell Titanic and GTE is called Verizon).

I'm bringing up my support before I comment that as a person from Chicago, this is the teeniest strike action I've ever seen. It looks so pathetic, but I guess the real power is in the fact that no phones are getting installed or repaired on the whole of the eastern seaboard.
