Another Life

In trying to explain how our accounting department works, I said to a cow-orker on AIM:

nrmastrogirl: "In Oracle" means that they have a vendor record for you in A/P. Since they have someone else (a clerk) enter your name and info, it has to go through that queue first. Any questions about the accounting dept? Ask me. When I was the computer queen at the gallery I was also the controller. I've even been employed as an Accounting Manager, which is a real job title.

I'm amazed that I was ever an accountant. It really seems like another life.
