A grep through my web directories indicates that I have not written about Ms. Parker-Pope before. I can’t believe it, but I guess it’s mostly been me ranting to Tino after reading the Wall Street Journal. A perusal of my old blog entries also indicates more than a few about how I’m not updating my blog very often.
I did find an old complaint about regressive, unscientific reporting on saturated fat here. I complain about Jennifer Iserloh in that one, but mostly because I think her fat-free ideas are wrong and her low-fat recipes at Slashfood are appalling. She is a thin and healthy-looking woman who used to be fat, so whatever she’s doing is working for her, at least.
If people want to make a sugary dessert out of low-fat yogurt and brown rice and call it “ice cream“, that’s their problem.
